Big Girls!

Can you believe I have already hit the 18 month mark??? Mom and Dad can hardly remember what it was like to hold a little baby. I went in for my check-up and besides the fact that I have to see an ear, nose, and throat specialist for my ear infections, all things are good. I weighed in at 24 lbs. 6 oz. and was 32" long. That is a bit on the petite side of the growth scale, especially compared to my BIGGER sister who weighed 28 lbs. 6 oz and was 33 inches long at the same age. But hey - small is cute, right mom?Now that I am getting bigger, Jessa and I can play together really well... most of the time. Dad will build us a fort so we can crawl through it...
Jessa will read to me...
and we even share snacks. Here we are eating a yummy dip mom made for the Superbowl. We still aren't sure why it was a big afternoon but loved the treat!
The BIG NEWS is that Jessa has reached another milestone. No, it doesn't have to do with a potty, although I think mom and dad would have preferred that, but it has to do with sleeping. Here is Jessa in her toddler bed...

and here is Jessa in her BIG GIRL BED!
Last weekend she got a full size bed with new polka dot sheets and princess sheets. WOW! If only I could get up there...

It was daddy's birthday today so we made him cupcakes and he helped frost them. We sure like to do that!

Especially because we get to sample!
YUM... yellow cake with chocolate frosting. A family favorite!
Finally, we didn't have party hats so had to improvise... pull ups work great!
Happy Birthday Daddy!
