So the last month has been a bit stressful for mom and dad...
Kaitlyn, after 4 months of ear infections and antibiotics, had a severe reaction to one. This picture doesn't even do justice to what it looked like. And there was nothing the doctors or anyone could do. So for a few days... we all suffered.
But now Kaitlyn is doing well - one week ago she had surgery for tubes (both ears) and is now talking like crazy. It is amazing what can happen when she can hear! We try to talk back and forth all the time.

She may also be headed for a career in teaching as she learns to grade papers like dad.
I did get a bit jealous of all the attention Kaitlyn was getting, but then got to go to 2 birthday parties (my bff Sydney and buddy Rogan). Both were at Chuck E Cheese! I am loving that place! Check out the fun I had!
